Well anyone who has lived in Maryland knows it's one giant city. Anytime I have to goto emissions there is a long line to get it done so, no, they never check under the car because they are just trying to get people out. We have the same rule that cars don't need emissions checks after a certain date but two things apply. One is if your car was made before 1970 (not 100% on that year but it's in the 70's) you don't have to take emissions. The other is if your car is at least 20 years old and you have Historical Tags. So right now in Maryland any vehicle made after 1988 has to get an emissions test.
Either way I just want the simulator for the test and then take it off and put the stock one back on. I'll give it a shot.
BTW I want my exhaust loud and raspy, and if smelly and harmful come along with it... eh I'll stand it.
