got a check engine light a few days ago, got it checked and its the p0030 code (HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1) as well as p0135 (O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1) well i cleared them just to make sure it wasn't a glitch as i always do, the code reader wouldn't clear out the p0030 code but it would the other, by time i got home i both codes were present as well as the same codes again pending.

i started looking around and found the o2 plug got a little to close to the header and was damaged, so i replaced the sensor as well as the damaged plug on the harness side, i then inspected the wires
completely and far enough back that it couldn't have been damaged, problem is the codes still come back after clearing and the scanner never can clear the p0030 code, im guessing because when the key is in the on position the ecu is talking to the sensor and finds an issue, now with what research i have gathered the obvious answer is that there is a damaged wire somewhere but all the wires look perfectly fine, now i was kinda wondering if another issue else were in the engine bay can cause these codes, on a previous car platform i was into it had a comin egr system issue throw an o2 sensor code and i wondered if this could be something like that

if anyone can help me figure this out i would be very thankful
