Wanted to get opinions if the Intense Stage 4 heads are too much to be ran with a XPZ cam or just fine for it and if i can run those heads without a problem with the XPZ cam. Most likely i will be going with a L36 block and a pretty decent build aiming for close to 400 if possible with the build. But before i spend the money i wanted to get opinions on them since i have been holding off the heads for a pretty long time now and i want to get the build started. so feel free to inform me

I'd opt for ZZP heads over intense based on exhaust valve size.

Regardless, 150# springs on intake and 130 on exhaust would be nice if you planned on spinning to 7000 and running 13-16 PSI.

    However do you really?

If not, 130 intake and 105 exhaust is fine.

Honestly making more than 350 WHP is really "super secret" as far as GPF knows. We don't make power over here, we just solve common issues and suggest 3.4 setups haha.

Haha well mainly going with these because of price a used set with less then 3k on them for almost half the cost. and i figure might as well be a bit more ported then not enough.
Well anything really above 350 ill be happy i know it isnt easy and i dont want to set my expectations to high but around that 350 ill be happy that way if its anything above that ill be surprised lol

350 hp and 350whp are very different and as others have said 350 whp on a SC setup is kind of like finding a unicorn or something. IS4 heads and XPZ cam sound like a solid start to me esp if you can get the heads for a good price.

Check out the install instructions on ZZP's website for their turbo setup. The simplicity of it combined with the potential power is hard to ignore if you want those kind of numbers.

Well all I really need left is heads and Trans an of course tune but I have a list of parts that I have already.
So stage 4 heads from intense should be good enough?

I might concider it at one point but due to the fact of living in Cali it's hard to get away with a turbo. If I didn't have to worry about it here I would of gone straight turbo and done my research on it by now.

Stage four is for larger power adders.

Stage three and xpz are comparable with more top end with the s3 and more midrange with the xpz.

Well I think for now I will keep the xpz since I have it already :/
wish I would of known the intense stage 4 would be better. But hopefully I'll be happy with the xpz I mean it isn't a weak cam either.

Nope but I'm sure maxing out a gen v is good enough for a stage 4 can don't you think?
