Heading down the road I felt the car cough or hiccup a few times driving home. Did it a few other times, then once as I was pulling out of a parking spot. Idle is sometimes dipping down to 500ish and bouncing a bit to regain itself.

Ok, let's hear it... walk me through this diagnosis.

Put some water on the ground
Pull car's front wheels in puddle
Make sure car is in 1st gear
Push throttle to floor as hard and fast as you can

Get back to me with the results.

Oh, and take a video of it.

    Ok, thanks guys.

Rico, I did that last night pulling into the garage, without water though. I also washed the car, figured maybe it was just pissed at me.

Scott, no hack...just edumacating the other folks searchig.

Matt, FWIW I tapped on the maf with it running. Engine sputtered and tried dying.

yeah.. it really acts unhappy when it's warmed up. Since Danielle keeps sending hot humid weather, I'm not thinking it's going to be happy anytime soon.

It's not all the time Cam. It's only sometimes. Then I tapped on the top of the maf and it acted right up.

I washed the car, thinking maybe it was just pissed off at me.

I trust you Cam. But both of the cats are in the house. They are no where near the car. Even if they are clogged...it shouldn't hurt the car.
