Wondering if this is worth getting? I am looking into getting the ZZP 3inch 304 Bolt in Downpipe. I do not plan on getting exhaust or headers anytime soon, but am looking to get a 3.4 press on pulley and Overkill PCM soon. Any suggestions? Is it worth getting 3 in even if I don't plan on switching exhaust soon?

right now all i have on my car performance mod wise is the 3" dp with hi flo cat. Everything else in my sig is being installed this weekend. At first i lost a little on the bottom end and the top in was slightly improved. After a few days of driving it, I can def. tell that it picked up some power. The low end is back to normal and the mid to high end got a little more kick to it.

You have to do something to your exhaust in order to move down a pulley. with a pulley you are bringing in so much more air into the engine so you need a way to get it out faster also.

the downpipe will remove the u bend.

you need more than a downpipe, pcm, and intake to run a 3.4 pulley though.

i would suggest a powerlog (or headers, preferably) downpipe, 1.9 rockers, intake, 180* thermo, autolite 104 spark plugs, an mps with a 3.5 and 3.6 pulley setup, and a tune actually made for your car (overkill will work better than any other mail order pcm).

timing makes you fast, not pulley size. more timing and bigger pulley > less timing and smaller pulley.
