Hey guys sorry for the noob questions but new to this motor. When is a good time to change supercharger oil and do you suggest taking it to the dealer? My car is approaching 120k miles on stock motor. If its not hard and I can do it myself what oil is recommended? Also do our cars come with any type of intercoolers? I live in Hot as HELL Las Vegas and I wanna know its going to perform when I have to put my foot down.

No, our cars do not come with intercoolers from the factory. No you do not need to go to a dealer for s/c oil change.

The black bolt in the supercharger snout, you grab an allen wrench and take it out, use a spray bottle pump and stick the hose down in the snout and pump out all of the oil, it will smell like Abraham Lincoln's dead ass hole, but it's okay. Then you replace it with 2 bottles of s/c oil from the dealer, it's like $10 I think. Easy peasy.

And here's a thread you can refer to for pics and such: http://www.grandprixforums.net/remov...-oil-4906.html

you need to buy "supercharger oil" you can get it from the dealer for not to much, i wouldnt say to take it there for them to do it they will probably over charge im sure there is a write up/ how too on here about it some where. if not check out youtube on how to change supercharger oil in a Grand Prix its pretty easy. you can buy an intercooler for these cars but they dont come factory with one.

NOW if it is has never been done. I believe I was once told 30k or 60k miles is a nice interval, I forget which. 30k wouldn't be too bad imo.

I would do it without a doubt. I did my car at 97k miles when I bought it. It's really simple it takes 10 minutes or less. Just get as much as you can out of it, and fill it to just under the threads in the snout. And you'll be good to go.
