    Hello Folks,

Hopefully a GP owner can answer this. In looking at the cat-back systems offered by ZZP, there are two selections, one for the 97-03 GP and then the 04+ GP. What exactly is the difference between the two systems? I'm going to order one of the other for the Impala, and even though it's an 04, the body for the Imp didn't change till 06, instead of the GP in 04. I'm thinking I should get the 97-03 set, but am just not sure. My best guess is length, but I'm not sure.

Buy 2 mufflers, drive to exhaust shop, weld them on with tips.

I just saved you a few hundred bucks.

Catbacks are dumb unless yours is completely rusted away and has fallen out from under the car.

Also, ZZP mufflers may drone just like flowmaster and magnaflows.

I was going to go that route, but due to rust, I need new. The inspection tech told me that my car would probably fail inspection next year unless I replace it.

To answer your question..the location of the exhaust hangers is what's different. Any exhaust shop can fix this.

im planning on buying there full 3" exhaust in a couple days for my 98 gtp, mines not rusted out quite yet but i dont want the reasonator cause i want it to be a little louder and the 3" down pipe, i dont want to weld it in cause a shop would charge a fourtune i bet. so the full system is 530, compared to 350 for the mufflers and 3" down pipe.
by the way how big is the exhaust stock?

I ran a GTP catback on my Impala. You'll need to extend the tips by about 6-8 inches. The Imp bumper hangs out further

2.25ish to the Y, then its split into two 1 7/8 size pipes to the mufflers.
