    You might be able to run a 3.4 I would get a scanner though just to check for kr.

    I've seen others run a 3.4 with those mods, but every car is different. Just get a MPS and try different pulleys, pulleys are cheep, start big and work your way down.

    Is there much difference between stock vs 3.6 vs 3.4?

    if your going to buy a plog and downpipe, why not just buy headers?

    Already got a dp and am looking for cheap plog for now. Eventual plan is headers and gen v but not right now.

    But i guarantee you'll be faster running more timing on a stock pulley than struggling to run a 3.5 or 3.6

    But headers will cure all that? With headers could i go lower than 3.4?

    Just get the headers man...I just finished installing mine a hour ago and the top end is way more awesome even with my stock 3.8 pulley

    With just headers on my other wise stock car I dropped 4 seconds off my 0-100 times
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.
    04 Comp G zzp stb's, UMI ta's, Speedbuilt sways, bully flo heads, XP, zzp headers, fsic, thrasher shift kit, 60#, 2.6" corsa 2.5", Inferno hood
