    The fuel pump died on my 97 GTP. The resistor bypass did nothing. I can't even hear the pump priming.

    Sooo..I need a new one. Any recommendations? I'd like to get a drop where nothing needs to be modified.
    2001 Regal GS, PLOG, 3" DP, 1.9's/L76 springs. 21* of timing on a 3.4"

    did you bend the tab on the fuel pump relay yet?

    have you swapped relays yet?

    Try banging on the tank with a hammer.

    but i guess it could be dead

    Yup swapped the relay. I would assume the pump is dead with it not priming. However it never had any symptoms before. Started just fine everytime.
    Before it died it started up just fine. Drove it to the gas station. Put 10 bucks in. Started it, put it in drive...made it 2 feet and it died. Now I can't hear it prime or anything.

    Hit the tank probably a dozen times with a mallet. Still nothin.

    you need one of these, just the pump, dont buy the whole pump housing if you gas gauge works.

    No, not while cranking. I don't have 10 foot arms and i'm the only one home ATM....but it should at least start priming if it was going to work and it didn't....and the battery is damn near dead anyways.
    Egay pump? Hell naw. Lifetime warranty my ass. Some random no name brand....not going there. I'll replace it once with a quality product.

    same price at your local parts store as well. but that thing is the pump. thats all you need to change.

    Yes I know what the pump is. I need a sending unit too. My fuel gauge goes all over the place.

    who me? lol i ran out of gas a few times, i use my odometer and record my miles after each fill up with usually around .5 of a gallon less then what my DIC tells me im getting, and i used the "fuel used" on the DIC but that's not perfectly accurate. my range doesn't work either, my low fuel light is always on and the gas light on the HUD is always on to

    both of you are ... i drove for just over a month with no cluster at all. no gas gauge blows, i did the same thing, but had to track my miles with my gps and also used it for a speedometer. i just gave myself a 10 miles to gallon rule and i never ran out of gas.

    Yea. But I've heard of 2 members gettin wrong parts or missing parts and Tengis didn't make it right. And Brandon said he was supposed to get his car tuned by Tengis and he never showed up or called
