So I try not to ask stupid repetitive questions by using the internet to my power but here come one..

I have been reading on this forum about a BBV on 97-03 top swaps and needing to add a wire from the main harness (i think) to the BBV but nothing about it on 04+ GP's

    I found..

    Boost Solenoid ByPass mod

and it looks like I could just bypass or override it, I am not looking forward to cutting into any wires if I don't need to.. Can I get some opinions on this?

i dont buy that. the car uses the BBV to dump boost under traction control situations as well because it also cuts fuel.

you will still need to wire it in like the 97-03, not sure what pin you wire it to though.

every time that trac light flashes, the pcm cut some power to the wheels, you dont want your traction control at all, its trash.

if you cant use your foot to control the gas pedal, your doing it all wrong.

Well I normally cut it off as soon as i start the car, the only time I use it is in the rain/snow. I want to buy that module that cuts it off automatically when you start the car.

first sight of rain or snow and that crap is turned off, it does nothing for you at all. except leave you in the middle of an intersection wishing the car would move. (in the snow) rain it dogs off the line, i'd rather have a little wheel spin and move vs sit there bogging and not going anywhere.

this is the first car i've owned with trac control, and i hate it with a passion, if you cant tell that yet.

People do that for when they go to the track. So many people forget to turn the TC off.
