After I replaced my Valve cover gaskets today, cylinder 5 began misfiring. There was not misfire last night as it drove fine. I checked and all the plugs and wires were fitted properly and the plug wasn't cracked. I put in new spark plug wires and replaced the plug only to see its still misfiring. My next guess is coil packs? ANY OTHERS IDEAS or SUGGESTIONS???

Make sure you didn't muck-up an injector wire. #5 is front farthest to the right.

    -----------------2 4 6
    FRONT motor
    passenger side
    -----------------1 3 5

    Front Bumper
It's a CUMMINS Dodge not a Dodge Cummins

check the plug wire for # 5, it may have been left on a manifold and got burnt up, you can switch coil packs around, and switch the wire, see it the mis follows.
