Thread: temp gauge with 180 t-stat

where should my gauge needle be pointing, approximately?

it flucuates between quarter mark and half way.

and under hood temp is super high.

maybe im not used to a boosted engine temp

They don't call em heatin eatons for nothing.
They gave the tiny m62's a heat exchange why not ours eh?

Here is mine with a 180*

pretend his says 160, mine sits 2 lines below his line

thats really weird mine starts at 160

That first line above 100 or 160, is 195 on the button pretty much.

im so confused why his temp gauge starts at 100 and mine on my 1999 starts at 160

it was a 97 in to 98 thing.
