Fel pro is a good gasket. Just make sure you get the kit with the new grommets. I used the Victor Reinz gaskets when I did my GS. Victor Reinz is who made the factory gaskets for GM

I don't think it would matter. I don't know who makes the ZZP gaskets, but it seems that over a year period they turn hard and leak.

How long ago and how often do you drive it? I daily drove mine and it took a year.

They'll leak tomorrow. The bigger issue with the ZZP gaskets is they don't fit the stock valve covers properly. Then they dont' include grommets. With the bolts having sleeves on them, the grommet is responsible for giving the sealing pressure.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

just used the felpro kit myself, zero rtv was used, the gaskets fit nice and snug in the valve cover. bone dry now.

who ever did my covers last used a ton of rtv, and made cleaning up the covers a chore. and the heads.

RTV? The only reason I put a little RTV on is to hold them in the valve cover for installing.

You didn't RTV the whole gasket did you?
