You're running the Aeromotive Stealth pump... I'm in process of replacing the pump in my 97 GTP, and the Stealth is not only a performance upgrade (not that I really need it, the motor is stock, as far as I know), it is locally available, and at $170, it's 1/3 of the cheapest price that ANYONE locally wants for an OEM pump/sender assembly ($485 was the cheapest price I got).
My question is: my OEM pump has the venturi line on it feeding back down into the basket, and from looking at the pics I've been able to find, the Stealth doesn't. I'm guessing that your pump would also have that line factory, and I'm wondering what mods you had to do to the basket (or otherwise) to use the Stealth pump?

I bought the car 2 weeks ago not running (knowing it was a bad pump), was able to drive it for 3 days by tapping the tank when I wanted to start the car... but now the car has been sitting on my front street since, and I can't really afford to keep it sitting there for much longer or the city bylaw will tag it as abandoned, so I really don't have time to wait 2-8 weeks for a mail order pump to come in when the Stealth pump can be picked up tomorrow morning, lol
