got the new motor in. when i turn the key the motor will not prime. however, it did prime once when i had the spark plugs out. now it does not want to at all. i hear something making an effort but no results. the fuel pump was working fine about a month ago when the motor seized so i dont think that is it. where should i start? im pretty lost

Do you have a fuel pump rewire? I forgot to hook power wire back up once and it drove me nuts for an hour before I noticed it.

I say check fuel pump because if it's stock it's junk. These pumps have a high failure rate if they sit for long periods. They drain back and run without lubrication and seize.
