    I have a 98 regal GS sc 3800 bought it with a blown motor bought a na 3800 and top swaped the na 3800 used the sc motor fuel rails injectors and all nessecary top swap procedures do i need to tune my pcm being it was already tuned to run a sc 3800 all pros and cons appreciated thanks guys

    yes, you are now running a high compression block.

    98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

    Or get a larger pulley.

    it has a stock pulley and all stock airbox no mods to engine and im not sure where around me does tuning

    if you get a 4.0 pulley youll be safe until you get a tune. you should be monitoring your knock too. you definitely need to tune it though. stay off the throttle until you do.

    asking for alot of trouble here... I wouldnt worry about getting it tuned as much as I would worry about getting some boost taken out of it... or something like an intercooler or headers installed.

    He's fairly close to you and can tune ^^^
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.

    you need supporting mods.
    get that stock crap off.
    get headers ASAP, get an intake on that thing ASAP, get some cooler plugs ASAP and tune it ASAP.
