Well like i said, 2000 gtp killing batterys like its going out of style. Iv had the car for a month now. This morning i had the car running started up just fine. i turned it off, got out then wanted to work on a vacuum line under the hood it has a leak. so i got back in and tryed starting it but the sec. i turned the key from (off) to (accessory) everything died? didnt even make it to (start). i just got in from putting in a another battery did the same thing plus, the batterys after i try are not taking a charge????? i just looked around very thing looks good. Took the wire covers off the wires leading up to the battery (+) and (-) wires. they all look good???? any ideas? i got a test light and voltage tester but not sure were to start. By the way my bad about the spelling and typing im kidda pissed about all this. Iv gotten no where sense 8:45 am. thanks

Def. sounds like a bad or loose cable. Remove the batt. cables and clean them, and the posts themselves. Then make sure they're nice and tight and see what you get. My 00 GT did this when the positive cable was slightly loose and corroded. And yes, it "looked" fine when I popped the hood as well.

My car is a 2000 as well and it seems to like the anti-corrosion battery connection gel you get from O'reilly's. It comes in a green packet and is red. Try that
