You can put a cover on the K&N you currently have, but it's not going to be very affective at all. The K&N intake for our cars is one of the worst intakes available. There are many, much better and cheaper alternatives, and yes, those two intakes I posted above are much, much, much better than the one you have. Your intake is doing little to nothing to improve horsepower.
