not getting any knock except when i unplugged the maf sensor, do they even make anything modular above a stock 3.8? When you unplug your maf sensor doesnt it basically go back to a stock tune anyway?

if you have a 3.8 leave that alone... if not move to that...

When you unplug your maf it doesn go to a stock tune it switches to your VE settings in your PCM. This is a "guess" of what the air mass per cylinder is and doesn use the maf sensor to calculate the actual air mass based on its readings..

this is what calculates your fueling (and why youre knocking with the maf unplugged)

I really dont think the maf is tuned right... at all... which is why I suggested returning to stock until intense can figure it out...

Ya I have the stock 3.8. Was gonna put a 3.6 on but waited. I didn't mean the actual stock tune but via way my buddy explained it made it seem like it was going to guess on fuel and air and I guess I didn't understand him correctly
