Hey all, thinking of getting the XP cam for my Bonneville, currently i have a shelf tune from intense.

Will i need a proper tune if i swap cams?

And what risks do i run with the tune i have now?

In theory you'd just need the idle bumped up.

you dont have to tune it if you dont want to see the gains you should be seeing.

    Bob...what year Bonne?

You'll need to pull the P0300 code for the cam and that's about all that is required. If you like lope, stock idle will probably work well. Although it would be easier on the chain dampner if you bump it a 100-200 rpm at idle.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

As seen in signature, I'd lower the idle LOL.
