Gauge cluster in center of dash = Drivers Information Center.

If all it says is "low", you should be checking all your fluids and pressures, then replace the dic because it probably has some lights burnt out.

on the 98 gtp the low fuel light is displayed in gauge cluster in dash at steering wheel.
could it be the oil in
    the supercharger is low?

There's no sensors in the snout to check level of oil... I'm understanding this to be a friends car. Check the oil, washer fluid, coolant

im tellin you its the distance you can travel because your car has calculated how many gallons you have, your mpg, and how far you can go.. after it gets to a certain number it just flashes low..

As I recall there's a corresponding light next to words that goes with it. If you cycle through you should be able to figure it out as long as it's only one bulb that is out.

    Low oil life
    Low fuel in tank
    Low tire pressure

Are the only two I think would be on there
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
