2005 GTP. I'm installing Stage 2 I/C and ZZP PCM with a scanguage to pave the way for future mods. Just out of curiosity, if my car dynoes around 215whp stock, what can I expect after this, ZZP advertises it as a 50hp bolt on, but I'm sure that is a tuned car and not stock, so maybe half that for an otherwise stock car? Maybe dyno 230-240fwhp?

Don't get a zzp pcm.. Get a tuner yourself or find someone to custom tune it

It shouldn't need much of a tune anyways.

Regardless, if you're not changing the pulley you won't see much gain if any.

Possibly a loss as the core is a restriction.

Putting an intercooler on an otherwise stock engine isn't really going to help you out that much. You'll probably gain 10-15whp if you don't touch anything else. You would be better off doing headers and a 3.6'' with a custom tune. IMO people should skip intercooling until after they've done heads/cam or at the very least a cam. The engine's VE blows and flow should be addressed before anything else.

Depending on the dyno you're probably closer to 200whp. The issue is there's all different types of dynos and correction factors. The most widely accepted standard of dyno and CF is a dynojet and SAE correction. The only issue there is that is usually the combo that reads the lowest.

As for a guess... your car with an IC and ZZP PCM... 215whp, SAE on a dynojet.

Im intercooled with a stock cam/heads....

anyway... youre not gonna see much of a gain unless you drop pulleys to take advantage of the ICs purpose...

what other mods will you have with it?

Well, I wasn't too concerned about the gains of the IC by itself, as I said, it will be paving the way for future mods. Quite frankly I don't trust most shops to dyno tune yet, I haven't found a good shop I can trust, I have had some bad experiences with my mustang and people that didn't know what they were doing...except how to ring up a huge bill for a bunch of nothing.

Anyone in the north central KY area (Louisville, Lexington) know a good shop that has experience in W body's? I'm pretty new to the area.

If you also have a scan gauge you will be alright running a box tune until you get more mods and want to splurge for a legit tune.. Just watch your KR, I went with a box tune on my 3.4 setup and just watched it closely. Now that I have moved on I will be doing only tunes that are setup for my application

Why not a 3.0"? I mean, if hes using a full S2IC then he should take advantage of that extra torque from the 3.0". You should be good with a 3.0", but me personally I would at least throw some headers on(along with the lil other supporting mods) to assure you'll be KR free(hopefully)

I also agree with taking further advantage of the full I/C by installing a CAMSHAFT. But at the end of the day, a full I/C, PCM tune, TB ported a lil, headers or at least 3" DP w/u-bend delete, 180*stat, CAI, 1-2 heat range colder plugs, with that 3.0" pulley, I think you'll be pulling much better than u did with the previous setup.....

performance wise maybe... the IC process is half the price, an easier mod and is not a hassle if done right...

So many variables. I would start with your largest pulley and keep adding timing until you get to 20* then pulley down. A smaller pulley means nothing if you are running 10* of timing.

WBStore has cnc heads for $999 and good luck doing an ic for less.
    Heads headers pulley and tune
Then e85 and roller rocker all with out tearing the engine apart for a cam no ic pump lines and core to deal with not to mention heads will help kr and flow.

Anyone know what a heads header rocker car with gen3 and slicks runs? Iirc someone was in the 12s not sure if e85 or not.

What's the who diff btw rockers and the mildest Cam(most likely the VS cam). I would say around 20-30whp. I was thinking of just doing the rockers myself but then I might disappoint myself of what power I could've had with a Cam. Your preference though....
