So I will be putting a pulley on my 98 GTP. I have headers, full exhaust, fender well intake, 180 tstat. just got partially tuned by my mechanics buddy so torque management, a couple of others things he did, he said will do the rest when its warm and have the pulley on but I just tuned now so I can pass my last emissions. So I was wondering, should I go 3.5 or a 3.4 pulley for the S/C?

    Thoughts? Thanks guys.
    98GTP 3.5in tips, headers, fenderwell intake, 180tstat...3.5pulley?

3.5 with a good timing tune.

3.4 will give you torque but will require more fuel and allow less timing

Stock+Self Tuned. Going for low 14's everyday.

nuthing till it can be tuned.

you through a pulley on now, and you wont have enough fuel.

the difference between the two isnt going to matter, so be conservative and run the 3.5 just in case.

    Completely wrong...

It will have enough, plenty in fact... it just is not going to have "drown mode" enabled that most people "tune" into 3.4 setups so they dont knock like crazy.

I have similar mods but 1.9 rockers, colder plugs, ported throttle body, LS6 maf. All of which didn't do a whole lot for me as far as knock goes. I'm running a 3.5 right now and the car runs pretty good how it sits but I have a 3.4 I'm about to put on in hopes to get out of the hole quicker at the track.

Do yourself a favor and get a modular pulley setup otherwise you'll be forking over 30 bucks and the time/ hassle every time you want to swap pulleys.
2000 GTP, 3.2 pulley, SD headers, 3" exhaust, modded 1.9's, custom CAI, LS6 maf, ported blower/ TB, HPT, 65 lb injectors, E85 in the summer, LM-1 wideband, 180 stat, autolite 104's, GMHD suspension kit. 13.2@104 on street tires w/o ported s/c
