So I'm installing a zzp fuel pump, and something doesn't match up. They send you 2 hoses, one black one clear bendy plastic (check the picture - ZZP350 in Tank Fuel Pump # ) Which one do I use? I tried and cannot for the life of me get the plastic hose on the fitting on the underside of the top of the canister. The factory one looks similar to the bendy plastic hose but not identical. Also The plug they send that goes into the pump itself is different (also see picture) Where do I splice it in? And how? It's inside the canister so I'd really like to avoid blowing my car up. As always any help is massively appreciated.

Ok so I know where the red and black wires connect now. I still dont know how to get the corrogated tubing onto the fitting on the underside of the top of the canister. I had to cut the old tubing to get it off and its such a tight fit I dunno how to get the new one on. also wtf is the other hose for?

It's an either/or option. To use the corrugated hose you have to heat up the end to make it pliable and jam it on there. It'll cool and make it damn near permanent. If you use the black hose you just clamp it on both ends.

Any tips on using a needle to get the old pump plug wires out of their connectors? At the moment Im just jammin the needle into the connector hoping to blindly hit some kind of release lol.

I usually cut and solder the connector, as the pins probably wont swap connectors....

Also, the tubing is easiest to work with if you stick the end in some boiling water for a bit then slide it on.
