so ive decided against putting on my ssic. i feel that making a little money from it and not ever having to worry about a pump dying to keeping fluid in it and having it all work together is my best option at the moment.
HOWEVER, i do still have a 3.2 pulley that i would like to run. on the 3.4 that i am currently running i barely have any knock, maybe 1.5* that comes up around the top of second. when i toss the 3.2 on it goes up to 3-4*, which i dont like so i took it off. mind you, I AM UNTUNED. a friend of mine threw a dhp 1.5 bin on my car when i got done with all of the work a long time ago. i just have a few codes deleted for the egr and random misfire due to my having a TEP cam at one point (this cam was MEAN!).
what are some things that i can add to my setup to allow me to run this pulley? ive been contemplating running a little meth/alky/water. does anyone have any ideas on which system and setup would be best for me? i also think that it would be easy enough for me to find a set of used heads, have them ported and cleared for a decent cam, and rebuilt. im not buying vendor heads, way too expensive when i can take them to a speed shop and save myself $1000. in all honesty, the stage 3 heads out there are really light porting in the real world of cars. but for now, i just want something to help me with my setup as is (no heads, no cams).
