ok i gotta 98 gtp...with a homeaid cai and 3.4" blower pulley...one day i was driving home after i left the city so it was at operation temperature...well when i floored it the service engine light came on....the car cut out past half throttle...and it kept cutting out...well i took it to oreilys and put it on auto xray and it said throttle position sensor/performance problem...so i ordered a new one and it still does the same thing...my dad tested both of them and they both are good and even with the new one on it still says its the TPS....when i put the cai i left the computer out in the open and strapped it down...i did that a month before this started happening...the book said that there is an open wire somewhere or faulty PCM....i cant figure it out because i dont have a diagnostic tool to read anything...does anyone have any ideas???? please help
    thanks

check the wires to the tps, they could be damaged, missing insulation or just cracks in the insulation will make it not work.

I'd bet he found it by now, seeing as it's from 08, and Last Activity 08-16-2008. Good info though.
