I ran mine with a 180 T-stat in FL the whole cars life. Reached 195 max, sitting in 110degree heat, in stop and go traffic.

Install is easy, remove 2 10mm bolts, swap out the t-stat and the t-stat gasket, and rebolt. Then make sure you properly flush the system, so that there is no air.
