L26 = weak rods

I don't plan on pushing my car too hard, I just want a quicker than stock daily driver to boot around with, not looking to run 12's or anything. It would be nice to run consistent 13.5s thoughbut I'm still running on a stock trans with 190k miles on it, so I know I won't be racing it much until that is changed out.
I can see why you're ducking the requests... You made 281 (where'd 290 come from?) uncorrected on a dynapack... the highest reading dyno on the planet.
You have a 250whp car SAE on a dynojet.
To the OP, with an GenV, L26, 3.4 and an XP cam you're looking at 270-280whp SAE on a dynojet with a good tune. Maybe 10-15whp more on a smaller pulley, if your setup will allow it.
On boostedcompg's dyno you'll probably make like 350whp and feel like you own the world![]()
The 290 was made on rollers back in utah. The dyno packs were at church automotive in long beach and many, many people pay that man to tune cars worth more then my house so I'm pretty sure his equipment is up to snuffOnly difference in setup was a fuel pump seeing as we ran out of fuel when on the packs.
Yeah, they read a lot higher than a DJ, which is what most people will use. So you can't compare dynapack numbers to dynojet numbers.
I'd still like to see these sheets... You make snide comments at the OP while you hide behind inflated numbers. It means nothing to me that he tunes high end cars, dynapacks are there so people leave with more horsepower than they expected because the first thing they do is get online and compare their results to everyone on a dynojet!
I'm new to all this dyno info! But after I get it tuned properly with the proper injectors, I'd be interested to see what my car would do on a dyno. I'm not sure if there are any locally but I'm sure Aligater knows of one as he is local to me. I'd be happy with 290whp, lol this is the fastest car I've ever owned.
Thanks for everyones input though, I figured around 280-300whp but I thought I'd post up and see what people had to say.![]()
Whereabouts in Ontario are you?
Fair enough.
Best of luck with the car.
Pulley matters?
I made 267 STD on a 3.4 on a stock cam. No E85.
