I just did the LIM gasket and the valve cover gaskets on my grand prix gtp. Ever since I finished I keep getting the P0401 code(insufficient EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) flow). Any idea where to start. There where no codes before I did the LIM gasket.

I didn't take the egr valve off, just the tube to the manifold.

i had the same code for a while.. couldnt figure it out.. i pulled the egr valve off and cleaned inside and replaced the egr valve and it finally turned off.. (changing the egr valve is not always the case, just happenes it was my prob.. i first replaced it and the light came back on after a month and ended up the new egr valve was a bad part).. goodluck!! (i also ran some seafoam so try and remove any carbon build-up)

Check your map sensor. That's how the flow is monitored by the pcm.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
