What mufflers would be better flowmaster or magnaflow also does anyone know where I could get stock exhaust tubing?

You should probably use this feature the next time before you post a new thread.

Whatever you use...both are going to drone.

    It's a 3800.

The key is a HUGE resonator and smaller diameter exhaust piping with quiet mufflers like Dynomax, SLP, Corsa, or Borla...even though I'm not a fan of basically any 3800 exhaust note.

Gmpp cat back is mangaflow. And the mufflers are set up like resonators, perforated core with glass packing around it.
    Flowmasters are hollow.

    Flowmasters are chambered mufflers.

    And drone.

    Bad.

Drone is in the ear of the beholder .... What I like , others may not. If you want a quiet a setup, don't modify it.

Hollow/chambered. It's same thing. No glass packing

    Drones, drone.

    LOL.

Regardless if you can hear it or not, it still does it.

I've had plenty of exhaust setups...

    ...Full stock with res. deleted
...Stock Mufflers with no cat/u-bend res
...PEMs/3" Catless DP 3" piping, no res. Flow 40's
...Catless Pacesetters, no res. 3" Piping with Flow 40's
...Catless Headers...30" glasspack 3" piping with Flow 40's
...Catless Headers 26" glasspack, dumped with no mufflers, 3" piping
...Catless Headers 26" glasspack, 9" Billet Proflo Race Muffler, 3" piping

And on the silver one...its bone stock...and now no cat/u-bend with the stock catback...and its still quiet as hell.

I'd have to say that: Catless Pacesetters, no res. 3" Piping with Flow 40's

^^ was the worst and loudest setup of them all...and I like loud cars.

Yup . That's why I recommend them, if it was quiet enough for gm to put their name on it, it works for me
