Okay I have my engine out of the car and we are working on that. But I want to now take the opportunity to get all of the old cooalnt out before putting the engine back in.

Engine - I figure that I will vacuum out the engine block the best that I can to get the coolant out of there. I am changing all the gaskets so when I take off the timing cover/water pump I should be able to empty that. The lower intake came off last night so tha will get emptied. Anything else I should do or tips on getting it all out of the block without being silly?

The radiator - I have emptied it but I think that it needs a good flushing. Should I pull it and take it to a radiator shop to have them flush it or is there an easier way? Keep in mind that I have well water so I would rather not use the garden hose.

Heater core - I was wondering if I can take distilled water and pour it into one of the hoses until it comes out the other hose? Again, the engine is out so I can run the heater..
