So how about the tranny? Next to the motor I would expect it's the most expensive single thing to replace?

Overall mine still appears to run great, with just over 100k. My tires are at the wear marks, but luckily out here I can put them off until at least the beginning of Nov., if not longer. Right now I'm more interested in getting all of the motor oil pan and tranny gaskets replaces. And probably the right side brake line. I can't believe it's lasted this long. Driver side gave out a few months ago. I didn't realize they put a metal line down the entire lenght of the car. Maybe it lasts longer than something else? But still; in New England, I'm surprised it didn't give out long before I brought the car out here.
