so i got my rebuild broken in all the way finally, got the new trans in and everythings all good. except that now im getting 0-60 readings of 7.7-8.5. Ive tried all combinations of TCS on and off, and Perf. shift on and off. Its gotten a lowest reading of 7.6 with tcs off and perf shift off. seems odd considering the first run i ever did with the car (before rebuild) i was pulling low to mid 6 second runs. All that changed over the rebuild was a home ported supercharger, and .20 oversized pistons, as well as a zzp pcm. anyone have any suggestions as to what could be slowing me down?

do you have anyway or scanning the car????

it might be knocking like a sum bish and pulling mad timing and slowing you down.

if you that modded, you also need a REAL tune, not a crappy ass zzp pcm that will blow the car up.

I ran a zzp pcm for 7 months before I switched to a dhp pcm and the car ran perfect, shifted perfect and still runs perfect... just sayin if you want to jump on that bandwagon by all means do so but it didn't blow chit up on my car........

I would buy a aeroforce scangauge so you can always scan on the fly and it tells you a boat load of other stuff to thats very nice to know.

    I got one myself.

Honestly...You could just drive to ZZP and have them dyno tune the damn thing.

ZZP PCM's and Intense PCM's have had good track records...but they have had just as many bad track records with shelling transmissions and chucking pistons. WHICH IS WHY...I like recommending Will @ Overkill Motorsports or getting a DHP PCM from 3800 Performance.

What other mods are on the car? Stock supercharger pulley? Smaller? It's bored .20 over with a ported blower...that really shouldn't have changed much of anything to be honest.

i thought if anything the oversized pistons would make a little more power considering a supercharger works off displacement which is why im at a loss. Yes stock s/c pulley for now, 160 thermostat, waiting on some extra cash to get my headers and new plugs and wires and drop to 3.5 or 3.4 pulley
