Ok so I finally opened the radiator drain plug after thirty minutes but why isn't the overflow tank draining?

The overflow bottle is just what the name says. It's where the coolant... overflows haha. Just a bottle with a rubber hose on the top.

But back to the point, just unscrew it, pour out coolant, and rinse.
