For now stick with either the original AC Delco plugs, or go with the copper Autolite 605's. You will have to replace the copper's more often, so if you don't like doing that, get the others. Platinum's do not last long or work very well in our motors.

I use the NGK iridium plugs in my car and haven't had any problems out of them. I use the TR55IX in mine. If you decide to go NGK, you may want to go with the TR5IX's since you're not modded much yet.
