Still doesnt mean its right though.
he put a base tune and changed the tables for the injectors
Odd.
vac leak = lean.
not rich.
Did they all look the same?
If so, I'd venture to guess its in the tune.
I got my scan gauge I'm still trying to figure out all the stuff on it but heres a clip of the vac Idk If thats where I should be or not... on the fuel thing it just says 35

you might not have a vacuum leak having a cam you won't have as much vacuum at idle.
set it to LTFT bank 1 and STFT bank 1
Or O2 bank 1
how do I do that I bought it used lol
Hold both buttons to get into menu.
Then some parameter option.
then you select what you want to be able to view.
then it reboots, resets your annunciator, and you can now select your selected parameters from the scan feature.
This should help as well: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/files/I...AL_rev_2_8.pdf
cool thanks and your pretty much right this is what paul had to say
The richness is due to it not being tuned properly yet. It was a real rough tune to get it running. After fixing the vacuum leaks, it is likely way to the negatives (probably pegged) on the fuel trims so it can't pull any more fuel out.
oh and I keep getting a 101 codw which is MAF or VAF A ckt range/ perf I don't know what that means I'm sure google will tell me but if any of you have experience with that code
DTC P0101 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Performance
Guess I could put the one from my old tb in there
Taz..I found an engine bay that's super clean. I'll have to get ya a pic. That way when you finish up with wiring etc..we can see how yours compares.

I'd suggest using the Aerforce to see what the MAF frequency is at idle.
I was under the impression the PCM compares the MAF input to the VE table to decide if the MAF is working or not.

The following are general possible causes:
Large Vacuum Leaks, split Intake Air Boot or PCV Hose, defective intake manifold gaskets
Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) Circuit and or wiring problems
Defective Barometric Pressure Sensor (possibly bad MAP input for GPs)
Dirty or Contaminated Mass Air Flow Sensing Wire or Filament
PCM software needs to be updated
really cause they look exactly the same
I'm pretty sure they are different
