just want someone to double check my build list here real quick and tell me its ok before i push the buy button... other then what is listed i will be making a 4 inch intake and a overkill pcm with this list at the same time

Car is a stock 97 GTP with 75000 miles and i just finished all the work to get it running in perfect order except the supercharger coupler(getting replaced when parts come in)

    No headers....

    Big problem there.

    TB spacer?

Are you planning on running meth or N2O? no? then skip it.

    How much is the coupler?

I can get GM S/C fluid for less than $5 a bottle at LIST locally.... And I'm in Canada....

With GM employee discount its not even worth mentioning.

I assume you have a 3" cat you plan on welding in?

    um yeah,

    NO TB SPACER EVAR

buy the spark plugs at napa, save on shipping.

high flow fuel filter huh, a brand new ac delco fuel filter works the same way.

you need exhaust mods before dropping to a 3.4, like headers.

A 3" DP and a PLOG isn't an exhaust mod?

    SINCE WHEN?

And brew, fuel isn't an issue till you're running a cam or intercooler.

    You're doing neither.

Change the filter regularly with whatever you can get for cheap.

i didnt know on the TB spacer i just figure wtf why not lol.... on the fuel filter i figured id just get it... its $15 and i havent changed it yet....if its better then ok if not then its w.e i need to change it

on headers i think the PLOG is just fine and there will be no cat... its a off road race pipe at which means no cat

I'm glad you got quite a bit of dough to spend on the car! The fuel filter is a couple bucks less at a car parts store, spark plugs are the same, you should keep those on the list as long as shipping is free which i doubt... and most people on here would say get headers not a powerlog.

shipping is $20 ground any way so its no big deal.... plus its no problem just removing them and buying them at the store... i bought the car for $2800 and then put $600 into parts to get it where i was happy with it as a DD... then ive got $1000 right now to build it for the fall till spring...

im set on a budget for this build and im right on the line of where i want to be so i kinda dont want to splurge for headers

Again, I can get a fuel filter for $10 or less locally... why but a ZZP for 15?

    I hated my Pace****ters with a passion.

But I don't really like my Speed daddy's either.

If you've got a grand, I'd vote VS cam and no exhaust mods.

Don't piss your money away so easily if you've got a set budget.

so i take it everyone will be happier with the pacestters rather then plog and downpipe?? not much more and if the Tb spacer isnt needed it only is $20 more which doesnt bust the budget.... tommarow ill post a pic of the car...

no one likes pacesetters... so if we are happier, not by much.

Pacesetters have 1.75 primaries which are very large for a 3.4 setup.

one and five eighths primaries would be better suited to your build.

Pacesetters just don't seem to seal....

The ZZP pro kit might work though.

I liked the welded mod though.

The ZZP Pro Kit is junk...don't mess with it.

Buy Speed Daddy's instead of Pacecrappers....get a 3.4" with an MPS System....Buy the T-Stat and plugs/wires/belt from your local autoparts store.

Also...click the link in my signature...learn learn learn...and research.

As well as that Fuel Filter...it really is just the GM unit...it isn't high flowing, its all BS and has been tested so.

I had Pacesetter's...and even after I had them welded to sin...they started to leak with the huge cam/solid mounts I have...and shook the welds and broke them.
