When I had my Thrasher, I always kinda dug when you shut the engine off, you could almost hear a gurgle from the filter. Almost as if it was human trying to get its last breath of air![]()
But like everyone else, its common, no matter what size filter you put in it. You are still gonna get that sound. If you dont like it, which I can't see how (but to each their own) you could always switch back to your stock airbox or something more sealed to prevent any intrusive air noise *shrugs*
I just didnt like mine for the simple fact it could not keep the air cooled that sucked into the Thrasher. Reptile and I did a test one time after I covered the whole Thrasher unit in thermal wrap and the ambient temps were still way above board. The Wizair or even the MSP or an SLP unit unit would more than likely keep the air temps close to ambient.
