If you want it to work efficiently, you really need to run a w/a ic post blower and another intercooler post turbo pre blower. Fitting that much into a fwd w-body is a pain, not to mention you're introducing more points of failure. Mentioning failure, anybody wanting the added benefit of quicker spool is in the T70ish turbo range or higher where lag is a factor. At this point you should be making over 500whp and putting some major stress on the trans, in a way you don't want the quick spool, because the lag is saving your ass at times.
There are much better turbo's out than there were 10 years ago that won't cost you an arm and a leg. There are a lot less 1" chains out now than there was 10 years ago as well.

I have always considered the "you need an under blower IC in a twincharged setup" a pile of crap. There is really no reason for the air temps to get that much higher just because it is going through the blower.... If that really is the case then it is just further proof you should just run a single turbo and no blower.

isn that what weve been saying this whole time? that a single setup is better than the TC setup?
and if air heats up in our blowers as much as it does already, I cant imagine the heat coming from forced air into the blower with a turbo pushing it in...:th_lipssealed1:

Uh??
No pressure ratio = no compression = no heat.... the blower may be spinning, but it is under no load as it is not compressing (or heating) the air.

one thing to add to this... at a given RPM the blower will be trying to move X amount of air. there will be a point at which the turbo will supply the same air. this means there is Zero drag at the crank from the SC pulley. **not saying the blower rotors aren't causing air flow restriction**
as the turbo creates more airflow then the SC can move off of power from the engine, the turbo's air begins to spin the rotors faster then they would normally. this extra rotation will basically be adding tq into the crank! In simpler terms the Turbo is spinning the blower that spins the crank!
its an interesting idea to think that a twin charge setup will be adding power to the crank via the belts. instead of the belts taking power from the engine.

my explanation seems right!
lets make up some #'s for an example.
2000rpm makes blower spin at 20,000 rpm.
the M90 moves 90ci per rotation so it moves 1,800,00 cim >>1,041 cfm
if at 2000 rpm the turbo can move 1041cfm then there wont be any power needed from the belt to spin the rotors.
anything over 1041 cfm will start to build pressure/boost in the blower case.
there will come a point when the pressure in the case will put so much force on the rotors that it will exceed the force from the crank. once this happens you will be adding power back into the engine via the crank from the turbo driven blower.
maybe for this situation you would need a 5" pulley and some very large turbo?
now if this is wrong, please point out where.

First off, the bypass valve is going to open.. which will mostly prevent any "backup" of air.
Secondly, the turbo does not "push" the air, as much as it just gets stacked up in the blower as positive pressure.... Remember the m90 is NOT a compressor, it is a positive displacement blower... Think of it as a big garbage can, and not a trash compactor....
A garbage can just holds whatever you want... If you choose to trash compact it before you put it into the garbage can (aka turbocharge and compress the air), it will hold compressed air. If you do not have a turbo, then you are just taking regular garbage, then tossing it in the dumpster, and more or less jumping on top of it to compress it. A whipple/CSC blower compresses air inside of the case, which shares no thermal dynamics with a positive displacement blower.
