    What is the electrical sensor for? on the intake manifold sorta underneath the thermostat housing on a 2002 supercharged 3.8

    I believe that is the coolant temp sensor.
    99 GTP, ZZP MPS 2.9 pulley, GenIII supercharger ported & polished, machined intake W/ stage 2 intercooler, XP Cam,ZZP fuel rails, 42.5 injectors, Wizard CAI, custom headers, 3 inch downpipe, into dynomax muffler,180 stat, Northstar TB, 85mm MAF, ZZP trans, 3.29 gears, input shaft and torque converter, stock heads W/Ls6 springs.

    Its your coolant sensor
    Gen V, 3.0, Stage 2 heads, XP Cam, SD Headers, N*, LQ4, ZZP Stage 2 Gen 3 Intercooler, CAI, AL 104's Gapped to .055, #130 Springs, 42.5lb Injectors, ZZP Tune.

    Is there another coolant temp sensor on the motor? or one with the same plug? car runs rich BUT

    I have it in a fiero with a harness somebody made so I'm twice confused i have everything plugged in but this sensor seems extra

    Edit okay I understand on my 2002 3.8sc intake coolant temp sensor there is a PATCH harness to convert the oval connector to flat style connector I had an AHA moment solved two problems
    just in case someone here runs into this problem
