Making more power translates to upgrading everything else that puts that power down to the wheels. I hate to see someone get a motor built up just to have the trans. take a dump 3 weeks later and then wonder why.

You may be safe for a while since it probably won't be beat on constantly, but I would start saving for a good built trans. for when the time comes so there are no surprises.
even when i go to the track, i dont do burn outs, no slicks no point, and i dont spin the tires on the launch i do my best to roll into it, which is why my 60s suck, best is a 2.1 on RSAs. i thought i read somewhere that the stocker trans can take about 350whp? and im pretty sure im no where near that or will be lol
