What applys to one car doesnt mean it applys to another. These cars have ran in the 9's and 8's in the 1/4 and made over 800whp on stock internals

I've been modding my stormtrooper gtp for years now, fixing to cam soon.
Re: are these numbers right?
OP your car is fine. Stop texting your friend. Those numbers are correct. If you want more power, read that thread.
Re: are these numbers right?
Forged rotating assy only costs $2500-3000.
+$800-1200 for the rebuild.
Then you're going to want heads ($500-2000) and an improved valvetrain (800-1200)
Then a nice transmission, $3000.
Then some nice tires.... $1000 + wheels (1000-2000).
Oh hai, 9600-13 400.
edit: forgot a new power adder.
figure another 3 to 5 thousand for that.

Dont listen to this guy, he obviously has no idea what he's talking about.
240hp is very good for your mods.

Why was that directed at me?
Re: are these numbers right?
I just wanna see the G8 the OP is talkin about
Re: are these numbers right?
I think you need a little more explanation for your turbo dyno matt...I think you were trying to say that a rebuilt engine wont give you 500hp? at least not cost effectively?
