perhaps it's another suspension piece worn giving them tire movement making them think the wheel bearing is shot?

they let me come in n feel the play in the tire and show me some other things that were wrong...seeing as its a small town they usually ignore safety protocols for people that do most of their own work on their cars. but my point is i did feel the play while grabbing the top n bottom of the tire as with when i grabbed the sides of the tire. but as you said could it be something else. the other part that i am replacing is the inner tie rod end on the drivers side...i had replaced the outer tie rod end when i began working on the car cuz i bent it while towing but they informed me the inner was bad as well. being as this is on the drivers side could it impact the passenger side?
