I was wondering if anyone knew if spyder headers were any good..
(yes, I've read the header thread)
they're on the market at a good price, $280.

    here's a couple links;

spyders website; Spyder Auto | Pontiac Grand Prix 97-03 Header - Chrome

There's probably 500 threads on this site about ebay projectors. Are they any good, they're ok at best. They have cheap brackets that break, bouncing problems, severe cross beam, cheap projector lenses, and are overpriced imo.

These are stock style Morimoto retrofitted headlights I make for people. They don't bounce, the brackets dont break, there's minimal cross beam if any, they're actual real bi-xenon projectors with a quality lense, and you only need a single beam H1 hid kit for them. They have a cutoff shield that drops to create a true hi-beam and don't take 2 seperate HID kits like the ebay projectors do. The ebay projectors's hi beam is unfocused as it's not in an actual projector. Retro's have 4 pnp connections to hook up and you're done. Take a look at them and weigh the differences. Check the vendor section for pricing. All said and done retro's kick ebay projectors off the map, are a bit more expensive but not all that much.

    You need,
    1. Good pair of oem or oem style headlights with working headlight adjusters

    2. DDM H1 hid kit

    3. 9007 bi-xenon relay harness for theretrofitsource.com

    4. 1 pair of Morimoto H1 projectors

    5. 1 pair mini gatlin gun shrouds

I have all the extra materials to complete these lights for you here at my residence. Retro's aren't for everyone but the pro's seriously out weigh the cons of the ebay lights if you're willing to spend the money to do it right the first time.

Think I've been up to late....... WOW I'm sorry about that, but that is pretty funny. I seen spyders, didn't read another word haha

He was just in another thread talking about HID guess that's why I saw spyders and figured I'd give my opinion. Oh well least I don't have to post that all over again, just what happens when you've been up 20hrs.....

all of the ebay headers are pretty much the same, just other sellers getting their hands on them. no one in specific owns that design so they just make them in batches. this is where you see different sellers take them to ebay and unload them.

is it just me or do the headers in the picture look as if they are not gonna fit our car? I believe we only have 3 exhaust ports on each side, not 4...

unless everyone is secretly running V8s and has just been messing with me for 5 years...

You call them ebay headers but they're not on ebay? I would buy the speed daddy's but they seem to have a lot of problems..maybe more than the spyders..(i think that's a stock pic) the actual headers would be different.

unfortuantely there's not a lot of headers in the $400-500 range except pacesetters.

cleangtp - thanks for the post on projectors, i may do that.

They are going to have fitment issues since they are the same design as the pacesetter's.

you sure on that because if they are...that's good seeing they're only 280.

    1) I think pacesetters for $280 are a good deal.
    2) Speed daddys need new interlock flex, new gaskets, welded in certain spots, and still sometimes leak.
