Just got done replacing my zzp catback's 12" 320 stainless Magnaflow resonator with a 36" 409 stainless Magnaflow resonator I bought off SummitRacing for $100 shipped to my door. Drone has been eliminated, and deceleration is completely silent. I'm very pleased with the results, and my car is stealthy once again.

Did you paint the grill or did you buy it like that? Either way it looks really awesome on your car.

There is at least 3/4" of clearance between the resonator and all the heat shields. The minimum being the midpipe section & the maximum around the gas tank into the Y-pipe.

Sweet, I'm looking into doing exhaust here sometime soon. I'm putting this on my list.

its quite possibly one of the heaviest and best muffler/resonators for us.

works great on the turbo cars

I'll be honest...the 3800 is just a loud engine by nature.
I was happy and loved it at first.
Few years down the line, daily driving this noisy m0th3rf#ck3r sucked!

So so did you leave it like this or add dual mufflers later?

Old thread, but I gotta say the video in the OP sounds pretty nice. If I wasn't trying to kill all exhaust tone in favor of sc whine, I would want it to sound like that.

its just a dual dump setup, more to spread the noise around so it can thoroughly piss everyone off

Lol, blame GotMelon for reviving this old thread, although it was some of the information I was looking into, I was wondering how it sounded with the rest of the exhaust on it. But now I know.

Have to checkout the sound when I have it available tonight.

I still have this exhaust set up on the car, but the headers and track pipe will be replaced with stock manifolds and stock cat.
If anyone wants any exhaust clips, now is the last chance! If someone wants to trade for the stock cat-back, we can do a trade + cash on your end for my 3" ZZP exhaust!

I'm actually looking to the resonator in my build, but I am going to run out to a 3" 3 chamber Flomaster. Just looking to get rid of a lot of the drone and still be able to move some air.

You need boost before you have to worry about moving air
