With a 3.6 pulley, you don't have a racecar. Don't bother with the thermostat.
The cold air intake is unnecessary, it is easier and ~$200 cheaper to just strap a 9" cone on your maf - it'll make the same power. I'd say to try copper (to keep it cheap) 605's and see if you knock. If you knock or they foul, go colder. Don't forget a tune - every change of pulley requires a tune to be done right. You're dead on about the headers; you'll need them. Oh, and just to make sure you know, spark plugs should be changed before/ when the pulley is changed.
Short answer:
no one knows till you try it.

and/or headers.
and always scan.
if you have 04+, 3.6 p.
I kinda dislike the "what do I need for X part" thread and I'm sorry but had skipped your thread until now. I do have info to add.
Dropping the tstat temps can help, but they don't always. A 180 is all that should be needed IMO. The bigger issue for temp is flow. Without coolant flow you can't help the engine drop temp. Anyone who has taken the end cap coolant cover off the LIM will know what I'm talking about. I recently posted a thread "how to mod a LIM", I feel it's a good read to understand the flow issue. With a rippin motor pushing down well over 400hp at the crank, I ran a 180 w/o a need for a 160. Thought never crossed my mind. (cammed/heads/rockers/pretty much one of everything). although changing the temp of the tstat and other things are pretty worthless in traffic if your fan settings haven't been changed to reflect the tstat changes.
Another thing that I'd like to mention is ...don't be like many of us. Try not to think in terms of what's the smallest pulley you can run and then go to mods for that. With tuning and timing can come more power than dropping a pulley.
