Did you bypass the radiator during install?

And where did you mount the cooler itself?

Mine is literally right behind in the grille in front of everything.
Mine is behind the ic and in front of the radiator. I did bypass the radiator

Yeah its fairly fun to drive it needs a tune badly and i have lots of complaints but no one said it was gonna be easy or not have any hiccups.

Yeah you and i talked about that but should it be that hot? I would think more in the 180-200 range under stress but i could be wrong i was hoping under cruising conditions it would be 160-180

Mine shifts pretty hard, and it's on stock line pressure. It's one of the early Dave transmissions.

The temps are way too hot. It should be around 200 with that cooler.

Make sure you tune the tcc to lockup at 100% duty cycle....you can still have it engaged softly but make sure it's set up so that it locks fully and no longer slips anywhere from 20 to a 120 rpm.... that s*** is just for noise and vibration harshness ( NVH) but create additional heat
