    I think I'll just go w/ weather stripping. I like a couple of the aftermarket hoods but I already have enough money wrapped up in this $3000 car.
    99 GP GT L26 bottom end, Intense stage II cam, Ported L67 heads w/ LS6 springs, LS1 valve seals, 42.5# injectors, ported sc/intake, custom LS1 TB and MAF, custom FWI, 3.4 mps, NGK TR6, ZZP wires, 180 stat, etc...

    that would be so much work watching your temp gauge and switching it on and off...

    Yeah I agree, Itd be like removing your thermostat in your house and replacing it with a thermometer and a switch.

    03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

    you want your coolant moving all the time...

    else you'll get hot spots....


    then worse things happen...

    You want to COOL the coolant once the temp reaches a certain temp.

    Hence the thermostat.

    The electric waterpump allows you to have higher coolant flow rates.

    Gotta have the system capacity for it though.
