I'm sure someone knows if the NA Series II intake will fit on a L67 without covering up the injector bosses on the NA intake? Also, (if anyone even tried) would the injectors physically hit/touch each other if there were two per cylinder? I'm thinking about an easy way to set up a dual fuel system on a turbo'd L67 without custom intake work. Before you call me a dummy, I've already done this with a LC2 3.8L Grand National engine and it works PERFECT! There's nothing like running on 87 octane and then switching over to 116 automatically... on-the-fly. If you want to know more about what I'm trying to accomplish here is the link to the LC2 version.

I can tell you by saturday. I will have an l67 apart and can set a l36 intake on it to check. What I would do is Spray fuel into the intake and use the ports in the heads for a direct port nitrous set up.

Did one myself, my set up is more like a 1" intercooler plate under my GenV.

The LIM gaskets are the same if thats what you're asking.

It'd work great for 87 cruising and 110 boosting.

Or as farns said, direct port nitrous.

This would make driving.g the car to the drag strip so much better. Cruise casually and switch straight to a small fuel cell for track duty then switch back for the trip home.

That's how you could have it to work but making it switch automatically works even better. My other car with this set-up actually switches automatically to the high octane every time you get into boost. No manual switching at all....just nail the throttle and after a certain boost level it switches to 116 octane and then when you let off the throttle it switches back to 87. It's seamless...

Here is the diagram of how I've got it wired on my Grand National engined Malibu. I made a custom injector wiring harness that just plugs into the main harness....the computer doesn't even know it's switching.

hi i have done a similare setup on my srt-4

and have a small problem if both set of injector are connected the car die when in boost
my pcm ground the negative side of the injector... even if i leave the positive side of the other injector floating it happens
if i disconnect from the injector it's ok

i haven't put any diode like you did, i just don't see where the feed back would come...but hey if it solve the issue who care

ps i work in electricity so you can be complexe in that side

Yep, they will do funky things without the blocking diode in the harness. Do you have a diagram of how you have the injectors wired? They should be wired just like the Turbo Regal's but for a 4 cyl. The Regal's computer also supply a ground to the injector to make them operate.

    yea after doing some thinking
it seems that if you don't put diode...the circuit..will be able to firing up 3 injector in serie
diode are bought will put them tomorow...

I'll have to pull a couple of intakes at the salvage yard and test them there myself. No biggie. Just thought someone here would have already done a dual injector set-up.

    I appreciate the compliments guys.
