I'd say check your engine and trans. mounts. IIRC the factory engine mount is liquid filled. By now it's probabaly leaked out and is shot. Look at the mount/bracket on the pass. side under the crank pulley and see if there is a bunch of black goo built up in the mount area. If so, then that's probably your culprit.
how do you fill them back up or is it something thats just nothing to worry about it
You replace them. Once they leak they are shot. Just stick w/ stock mounts as replacements as poly mounts will introduce vibrations again.
And yes, get them replaced. If the mounts are worn/bad they will cause your engine/trans. to sit at a different angle which can put extra stress on the cv axles thus causing them to wear out quickly as well. It changes the angle at which they sit (kinda like the pinion angle on the RWD cars).
Maybe you already have poly mounts
anyone know pricing and is it usually easy swap i do see the black goop all around it
Per Oreilly's website:
engine mount- Anchor 2796 - Engine Mount | O'Reilly Auto Parts
trans mount- Anchor 2712 - Automatic Transmission Mount | O'Reilly Auto Parts
As far as changing them, yes its pretty easy. You will need to loosen the 2 nuts from the engine mount, pop the dogbones loose and then jack up the pass. side of the engine. Be carefull that you do not dent then pan. You can get a piece of wood in there and catch the edge of the pan if i'm not mistaken. Be VERY carefull when it is supported like this, as once the mount is out then engine could slip off the jack and crush whatever is under it (ie- your hand).
There a 4 bolts total. 2 holding it to the engine cradle, and 2 that hold it to the mount that runs under the crank pulley. Install new one and drop the jack down slowly to line the 2 bolts back up w/ the cradle and you're done.
The trans. mount wll require you to remove the drivers side tire. It should then be visable. Same as the engine side except you can put the 2x4 on the edge of the bellhousing and lift the trans. once the 2 lower bolts are removed from the mount.
